Loan-Based Split Dollar System
Taking
advantage of the Section 7872 provisions of the Final Split
Dollar Regulations, this new System illustrates plans cast
between employers and favored executives (Loan-Based Split
Dollar) and plans cast between private parties (Loan-Based
Private Split Dollar) that are funded by loans. With the
use of employer-sponsored and private equity split dollar
ended, these new plans are the only realistic alternatives.
